Charter a boat skippered by the entertaining Brian Roberts and his friendly canine first mate Alfie. Parties of up to 10 persons, your trip can be tailored to suit you, fishing, pulling lobster pots, or a leisurely tour of the harbour and stopping off for drinks in the Bulman or the Dock bar.

Offers an inexpensive way of seeing Kinsale from the water that it was built around. Cruise around the harbour in the comfortable and adeptly named ‘Spirit of Kinsale.’ Tickets purchased as you board.

Kinsale played an important role in Irish, English & Spanish history. Both guides are a joy to hear as they creatively bring to life Kinsales past, placing its story in the wider sweep of history.

Ghost Tour

Kinsale Ghost Tours provides a different sort of tour involving Monty Python style slapstick comedy, rather than horror. Meet at the Tap Tavern 9pm Sun-Fri  for an entertaining look at the History of Kinsale, lasting just over an hour.

Kitty O’Se’s

Kitty O’Se’s is a social institution in Kinsale, it has a sister bar in Killarney of the same name. Live music nightly, lively atmosphere, and bar food served from lunch daily.

Daltons

Daltons is a charming bar in the center of town. Weekly trad sessions, an open fire, and friendly atmosphere makes Daltons a welcoming and enjoyable environment.

Lord Kingsale

Another Kinsale bar that offers old world charm, located along main street, its walls are filled with old photos and local memorabilia. Stereotypical of a country bar.

The Dock

The Dock bar is located in Castlepark, beside the beach and James fort. It’s a bright spacious bar, with a nice beer garden.

The Tap Tavern​

The Tap Tavern is one of the best examples of the classic Irish ‘local’ bars around. It’s been run by the same family since 1886. The bar has a beer garden, live music and great craic. The decor is like a walk through the decades, that can only be encapsulated through the authenticity of time.
